The future of Blythe CC is to advance the game of cricket in the Blythe Bridge, Cresswell and Draycott-in-the-moors area through sportsmanship, leadership, discipline, and hard work. We aim to show that cricket can be played at the highest competitive level while always respecting and upholding Blythe CC’s values.

Opportunity for All – provide the environment, facilities, and coaching for people of all ages, genders, and abilities to play and enjoy cricket.
Junior Development – prioritise junior cricket, encouraging young players to take up the game early and progress naturally from softball cricket through to senior teams.
Community & Culture – foster pride, positivity, and a close-knit community where members feel valued and connected, both on and off the field.
Excellence & Standards – continually improve coaching, facilities, and player pathways so that Blythe CC can thrive in local competitions and build a strong foundation for future success.
Objectives
Junior Pathway: Ensure all young players have access to quality facilities, structured coaching, and competitive playing opportunities.
Facilities: Raise the standard of club facilities to support player development and enhance the matchday and training experience.
Coaching Workforce: Recruit, train, and develop more coaches to sustain a complete pathway from All Stars and Dynamos through to senior cricket.
Teams & Progression: Run enough junior and senior sides to create a natural progression route, ensuring retention and development of young talent.
Competitions: Actively participate in local leagues and festivals to provide high-quality playing opportunities at every level.
Community Spirit: Promote Blythe CC as a thriving, diverse, and friendly club built on a love of cricket, strong values, and respect for our traditions.
