Welcome to Cricket at Blythe Cricket Club
Celebrating 100 Years of Cricketing Spirit!

2026 marks a truly special milestone for Blythe Cricket Club as we celebrate our 100th year — a century of cricket, community and commitment. As we look ahead, there’s a real sense of optimism and ambition throughout the club, both on and off the field.
We’re delighted to welcome Paul Sims as our new Head of Cricket, bringing with him a wealth of experience, passion, and a clear vision to drive Blythe forward. Under Paul’s leadership, we’re aiming to build on our proud traditions while pushing for success across all levels.
This year, our targets are clear and bold:
-
1st XI – a strong campaign with eyes firmly on promotion.
-
2nd XI – to build consistency and finish high in their division.
-
Sunday XI – to push hard for promotion and continue to be a vital pathway for players developing through the club.
-
Development XI – to provide a platform for young and emerging players to perform, learn and enjoy their cricket.
Alongside these ambitions, the club continues to thrive thanks to the dedication of our members, volunteers, and coaches. It takes an enormous amount of unseen work to ensure every player, from junior to senior, enjoys a full season of competitive and rewarding cricket — and we’re proud of the community that makes it all possible.
Our facilities remain some of the best around, and our coaching and management teams are ready to welcome players old and new to another exciting summer at Cresswell.
As we celebrate our centenary year, we look not only to honour the past but to build a future that’s even stronger. Here’s to a memorable season — one full of hard work, progress, and plenty of success across every team.
Best wishes to all our players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters for a fantastic 2026 season.
