Membership Policy
Purpose
This policy sets out the structure, benefits, and expectations of membership at Blythe CC. It ensures that all members – players, social members, parents, and supporters – understand their role in the Club community, their entitlements, and their responsibilities.
Membership Categories

Membership Responsibilities
All members (playing and social) are expected to:

Abide by the Club’s Codes of Conduct (players, parents, coaches, volunteers).

Respect Club facilities, staff, volunteers, and fellow members.

Support Club fundraising, sponsorship, and events where possible.

Follow ECB and Club safeguarding, equality, and inclusion policies.
Renewal Process

Membership year runs 1st February – 31st January.

Renewals open from 1st February each year.

Members who have not renewed by 25th April 2026 will lose playing eligibility until fees are paid (Unless alternative agreement is reached with Membership Secretary).
Match Fees

Adults £10.00 (Saturday/Sunday). (Card payments £12.50)

Juniors/Under 18’s £5.00 (Saturday/Sunday). (Card payments £6.25)

Senior Midweek games £5.00 (ALL Players). (Card payments £6.25)
Termination of Membership
The Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership if:

The member breaches the Club’s Code of Conduct.

Fees are unpaid after agreed deadlines.

Conduct brings the Club into disrepute.
Appeals may be made to the Executive Committee in writing.
Early Bird Discount
The Club has agreed to a 20% discount on all members paying prior to 1st April 2026 with the exception of the Women Adult Playing Member, due to this rate being heavily discounted to encourage new Women Adult players.
Governance
Membership categories and rates are approved at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). This policy will be reviewed annually by the Executive Committee and updated as required.
